Welcome to the next group of interactive digitial media designers! The New Media Design program, NMD, starts a new group of students every year at the beginning of February.  This year, we welcomed 20 new students.  

Some of the students clearly love design.  They enjoy sketching, have experience with art classes and already understand the elements and principles of design.  Other students clearly enjoy coding and the development side of things.  A few of them have strengths in both areas.  Many, also have their heart set on working in the game development industry. 

Throughout the program year, they will work on developing their skills in each area. They will build on their strengths while learning new skills in other areas to give a solid foundation in the different aspects of the interactive digital media design industry.  It will help them figure out which specific direction they would like to pursue. Good luck to all of them as they move closer towards fulfilling their career aspirations!
