What We Offer

The interactive design industry in Canada and around the world requires a fusion of creative and technology skills. The NMD program will help you get the combination of design, coding and business skills necessary to succeed in today’s digital world.

Design

Develop your creativity as you learn principles of design and design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and XD. Create your own personal logo and participate in logo jams to help develop logos for clients. Learn the workflow process used when developing websites and use XD to make style guides, wireframes and prototypes.

Coding

Learn the basics of coding and programming. Use Unity to create your own games while learning C# programming. Use HTML and CSS to code websites. Take it further and learn more advanced techniques using JavaScript to make your websites interactive. You will also learn WordPress, the popular content management system used to build client websites making it easier to keep content fresh and exciting.

Business

Business skills like innovation, marketing and research will help you succeed in this industry. Learn how to showcase your skill set in a portfolio as you explore your career path. You will work as part of a team and learn interpersonal and communication skills to help you work effectively with peers and clients. Learn how to manage a project and hone your planning and organizational skills as you develop a product for a client.
